Every season has its turning, and this one brings a bittersweet goodbye to my shop. My family and I will be relocating and this little piece of sacred space in Raton will be closing. My heart is so full of the magic and love that has been created in this space for the past 5 years. It has been my absolute honor to birth Altalune into the magical little shop that it is and to have been able to take up space right on main street in downtown Raton.
As the ol Greek boi Heraclitus would say, “Nothing is permanent except change.”
I use this as a guide in my own life and have embraced that all things are simply like ocean waves, constantly moving in and out of our experience.
I am forever thankful for everyone who has ever stopped by in curiosity, those who popped in while traveling through town, and especially to my locals and regulars that have become friends and family to me. You all kept me in this space and allowed me to live out one of my childhood dreams. I am also so grateful for my family, friends, and local artisans that helped make this space what it is. Your magic was felt here and will always be a part of me.
I hope Altalune was able to fill Raton with love, enchantment, and wonder.
I hope I showed up for you all as fully as I always intended.
The shop will rest its magic in late June.
