Dropped into for the first time! What a beautiful little shop this is! I’m in love with this simple pullover that was hanging on the wall between the marvelous mashup of yarns and other needle arts supplies. I’ll be going back for sure… maybe I’ll pickup the pattern and yarn kit for this sweater. ♥️

I sat watching these sheep for about 30 minutes today and the strangest thing was not a sound came out of them for the first 15 minutes. It was amazing the calm I felt as I sat watching them. So peaceful while they munched away enjoying the green grass that the rain weather brought.

Starting a new knit kit from . This Stitch Sampler Afghan also comes in a crochet pattern which my daughter is stitching at the same time with me. It will be a nice addition to my decor and I’ll be getting a bit of an education in stitches and will give me some mental and emotional therapy.

Here’s my latest find! Hint, hint… this grass has been known to be processed into a sweet syrup similar to molasses. The seeds are useful for animal feed and can be a great addition to a vegan diet as a replacement for meat in burgers or as a hot breakfast cereal.
It’s amazing to think that a plant found growing on the side of the road could be your food.
Don’t starve ~ Eat your weeds!

Mushrooms are fascinating! I can accurately identify only a few. This one… not so much. I almost stepped on this past prime specimen that popped up in our dirt and gravel parking lot. Any clue from my forager friends and mycologists’s what this might be?
