Congratulations RHS Class of 2025! Go out and do great things in the world.

New Leslie V & Stella J Raymond board member Luke Probasco was on hand at graduation today to hand out $30,000 in scholarships.

Establishing scholarships is one of the principal missions of the Foundation as established by the Raymonds. We are proud to continue that tradition and award college funding to every RHS senior that applied!

Community Organizations serving Raymond, don't forget to visit our website www.lvraymond.org to request a grant application! Applications are due by December 31st-ish!

Some groups ask why we've switched to an application form vs just writing a request in a letter: We found that we weren't always getting enough information to make a funding decisions sometimes and we didn't like that good causes might not be getting grants just because the request wasn't well understood. A grant application, where we call out the information we need to make a decision, helps to reduce those missed opportunities.

Does that mean you can't also write a letter and include it? Nope!

December is the season! The season for local community organizations to apply for Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation grants! Applications are due by December 31st.

Visit our website to view the grant guidelines and to request a current application. Applications will be emailed next week. Grant awards will be announced in late January.

Did you receive a scholarship from us when you graduated from RHS? You have steps you need to take each year (not your freshman year) to receive a disbursement of funds.

Did you graduate from RHS a few years ago, but you're either a) still in school or b) returning to school? We have alumni scholarship opportunities. The application window is August 15 - September 30.

The Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation is proud to support the Raymond School District. Last week, the Foundation approved a total of $54,200 in grant funding for the district. From playground equipment to cutting-edge technology and educational tools, the Foundation works with the district to make a Raymond education an exceptional experience.

Last month, the Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation awarded over $29,000 in scholarships to deserving Raymond High School 2024 graduates.

Earlier this year, the Leslie V. & Stella J. Raymond Foundation awarded over $60,000 in grants to local organizations making a difference in our community!

Grants were awarded for community support, education, career resources, food insecurity, recreational facilities infrastructure, youth activities, cultural institutions, and celebrations of all the things that make Willapa Harbor a great community.

Congratulations and thank you to all our grant awardees! Without your activities in the community, we would not be able to fulfill the vision Leslie and Stella had when they established our foundation.

It's not much, for now, but it does provide a quick source of information as well as an easy way to contact us.

The Leslie V & Stella J Raymond Foundation will be accepting applications for community grants through December 31st. To apply, email info@lvraymond.org for a copy of the application.

Grants will be evaluated and awarded in January.

The Foundation accepts applications for a wide variety of organizations, events, and causes:

-Education and Activities for Raymond School District Students
-Community Events (Fairs, Festivals, Etc.) Attended by Raymond Citizens
-Care of Animals, Animal Populations
-Parks and Recreation Utilized by Raymond Citizens
-Art and Community Beautification Projects in Raymond city limits
-Tourism and Promotion of Raymond as a Tourism Destination
-Infrastructure Improvements Utilized by Raymond Citizens
And more!

The following requests are outside the scope of our foundation and are not considered for funding:

Operational Expenses (Salary, Utilities, Building Occupancy)
Political Events or Sponsorships
Funding to Host Fundraising Events
