👑✨ Yesterday was National Princess Day, and our memory care residents had a magical time making crowns and wands! ✨👑

They looked absolutely adorable in their creations at Sunrise! It brought so much joy to see everyone embracing their inner royalty. 🥰

🌳✨ Check out our Thankful Tree at Sunrise! ✨🌳

I crafted this special tree using brown paper sacks and leaf vines, and it’s become a beautiful centerpiece of gratitude. Our residents colored leaves and wrote what they are thankful for on the backs, while our amazing staff shared their gratitude too!

I hung the staff's leaves on the wall and the residents' leaves from the ceiling, creating a heartwarming display of appreciation. It’s a wonderful reminder of all the things we cherish together! 💖

Friday marked National Pickle Day! At Sunrise, we experimented by creating koolaid pickles. You simply blend koolaid and sugar with your pickles, let it rest for 3 to 5 days, and then taste! We made cherry flavored ones! Opinions were divided on whether we enjoyed them, lol!

🌅 Veterans Day at Sunrise 🇺🇸

Today, we honored our heroes with a delicious rib and brisket lunch, followed by a heartfelt Veterans Day ceremony. Everyone received a certificate of appreciation and a special flag pin to commemorate the day! 🎖️🎂

Thank you to all our veterans for your service and sacrifice. Your bravery inspires us every day! 💙❤️
