Greetings to all of you:
We are excited to announce that our family will be having a family reunion! Yes, you read it correctly! Our family will have our first unified family reunion combined with the Babineaux and Augustine family. This reunion has been a long time coming. We welcome the presence of all of you. This wonderful event takes place on Saturday, July 9, 2016 at the Colomb Center located off of the Grand Coteau exit. The physical address of the reunion site is 6489 Highway 93 Arnaudville La 70512. It is approximately a mile away from Grand Coteau’s famous church Sacred Heart. The reunion will begin at 11am until 10pm. We have a fun-filled, family oriented, peaceful, emotional, and joyous day together as a family of one. On Sunday, July 10, 2016 we will meet at Immaculate Heart of Mary Catholic Church for 11am mass. It’s located at 818 12th Street Lafayette LA 70501. We will honor our family that has gone on to glory.
Our reunion colors are red and white. Our theme is “we are one.”
The official reunion hotel is Holiday Inn & Suites Lafayette North, 2219 NW Evangeline Thruway, and Lafayette LA 70501. The phone number is (337) 706-8199 to make your reservation. All rooms MUST be reserved with a credit card by June 24, 2016. If you do not reserve your rooms by the above mentioned date the rooms will be dropped. You have 72 hours before your check in date to cancel your reservation. When making your reservation please let them know that you are with the Augustine/Babineaux Family Reunion, so that you get the low rate of $89 per night. The nights are reserved for check- IN Friday, July 8, 2016 to check- OUT Monday, July 11, 2016. If you need to check out on a later date that is fine, but you must speak with Christy Walter for additional days. She will manually put in the lower rate based on room availability. If you know that you want to check out on Tuesday please let them know when you check in, so that the adjustment can be made to your individual ticket.

In addition, the cost per person is $25per person for ages 14 and up, $10 for ages 4 to 13 years, and free for children under the age of 4 years. This price covers your food along with a fun-filled day with family. We will have wrist bands to identify our family. This will avoid strangers trying to blend in as family. This is for all of our safety. We will need an RSVP by March the 1, 2016. Please be prompt with your response. We want this day to be a success. We also want to have enough for everyone, so this is why the RSVP is important.
If you want to order reunion shirts the price is $15 per shirt up to size XL. $20 for shirt sizes 2X and 3X. Shirt orders must be in by March 1, 2016.
If you want to donate money to help make our family reunion a success we welcome you. NO CHECKS are being accepted unless it is a certified check from your bank. Everyone will receive a receipt for your payment and/or donation. We have created a link to allow you to be able to pay by using your credit card too. Just let us know and we will send the link to your phone or email. You may also pay with a money order, and cash is always accepted. Payments and donations for the Augustine/Babineaux reunion can be mailed to: 610 Webb Street Lafayette LA 70501. Please specify what the payment is for along with your name, address, and phone number.
