❤️ Heart disease is the leading cause of death in the US and globally. The American Heart Association champions awareness for all ages and those who may be high risk.

Our Wyomissing staff is participating in the Heart Walk this year at the Lehigh Valley Zoo on Sunday, September 28th. We’ve raising money by selling t-shirts, sponsoring fitness classes led by our clinical liaison, and selling these adorable paper hearts in our office.

We want to fill the walls with notes of encouragement for our residents, families, and loved ones. We want to remember those lost and take an active stance on awareness. 🫶🏼

Residents enjoyed reminiscing about past vacations and favorite destinations where palm trees were a familiar sight. Inspired by these memories, they created palm tree centerpieces using natural branches, seashells, and hand-cut paper leaves. This project encouraged creativity, self-expression, and meaningful conversation, while bringing a touch of the tropics into our community.

Wyomissing Health and Rehabilitation Center was honored to welcome the Groffdale Conference A Ca****la Youth Choir for a special performance. Residents, staff, and visitors enjoyed a moving and uplifting musical program that created a warm and joyful atmosphere throughout the community.

The choir’s visit provided not only entertainment, but also a meaningful opportunity for connection and fellowship, leaving lasting smiles on the faces of all who attended.
