I’ve been busy with helping mamas deliver there babies. My ladies are some very strong women. Even knowing that they were not appose to having pain meds for labor. They all did a great and quick job of labor. What a blessing to be part of one of life’s miracles. I have a break from working with mamas in labor. I will be working on teaching childbirth classes again. Looking forward to seeing you all soon.

So yesterday I did a refresher class for a mom and dad that are having there 4th child. There first was during Covid and in the DR. She had a c-section and a year later another child again a c-section. 18 months ago she had another child vaginally. She have a Doula but she got there late when mom was 8 cm. Mom felt that if she was able to be there earlier she would have been able to manage things better. So this time I will be helping mom and dad with labor and birth. The best part for me was I did the class in spanglish?!

So on Saturday I did a class for another couple. It was another referral. Friends of a client from earlier this year. They were quiet and didn’t seem to have any questions! Which is ok, but I wonder if they didn’t because they know everything already!! Or because of what they hear from others!! People that don’t ask questions always worry me. I hope all goes well for them. May God bless this young family.

So this pass Friday I did a class for a couple. I did it Friday because Dad works Saturday to Tuesday. So since I don’t work at a 9-5 job I did a class. This couple didn’t come from any of the offices that normally send me clients. This couple came because the partners sister was in my class last year and she recommended my class. I just love that! They were here and I shared my information with them. At the end they thanked me for making everything easy to understand. I was so very thankful for those kind words. It’s what we all want to understand. God bless this young family.

Good morning, I was blessed to have a class yesterday with a lovely couple. Mom had lots of questions and Dad was appreciative of the information that was shaded. Mom left feeling ready for the birth and Dad said he didn’t realize how much more there was to learn. I pray God blesses this my family.

Today was exciting!! Well maybe for me, not mom and dad, they had their baby in the car as I was talking to both of them. Telling dad NOT to go to the Emergency entrance, but the 5th ave entrance instead, while trying to keep mom focused on breathing as the baby was coming out. Quite a reception at the entrance. At least 6 nurses and 2 security guards. Every one was good!! Mom and dad in shock and baby just a little cool. Baby warmed up nicely on mom’s chest!! all in all about 2 hours home by 6am.

It always nice to have a class with a couple that know more then most. Better discussion with them. I was still able to teach them things they didn’t know! It was a great class and we were able to end early. God bless this new family!

Have a class today instead of Saturday due to snow. Two couples! One Birth Center , one Exeter office. I was able to teach what I wanted them to know, but found myself out of sync. I was getting used to individualizing for couple needs and concerns. For single couple class and I didn’t follow my set outline , I went with the flow, so I taught what was needed just not smoothly . One couple texted me afterwards saying it was great class and helped them 100%. So smooth or not it was good for them. Helpful it was good for the other couple too! May God bless these two families.

My class this weekend was once again one were the needs of the client had me adjusting what I was teaching to meet the needs of this couple. So that’s what I did! I believe that I was able to answer all questions. Reminding them to ask more questions and better questions to their providers. God bless this new family!
