Summer feels amazing for the soul, but it can be tough on your skin. Here’s why:

☀️ UV rays break down collagen and elastin, the proteins that keep your skin firm and youthful.

🌊 Chlorine, salt water, and sweat strip away natural lipids, leading to dehydration and a weakened barrier.

😓 Heat and humidity increase sebum (oil) production, which can trap bacteria and cause breakouts.

🌤️ Sun exposure triggers melanocytes (pigment-producing cells), which deepens dark spots and uneven tone.

Celebrated my 43rd birthday this week and I keep saying: “I’m having so much fun!”

This past year, I’ve grown into deeper peace, presence, and freedom—reaping the benefits of all the healing work I’ve done, including the work we've done together.

Three milestones that shaped this journey:
1️⃣ Graduating Anchored Coaching Certification — a year free of flashbacks & PTSD symptoms.
2️⃣ Lovingly letting go of ma*****na 💫
3️⃣ Returning to Sweet Balance with renewed love and appreciation ❤️
