You guys see that I play hard but I also take my role as a social worker/therapist and business owner very seriously. This is the first article that I've ever written and I'm very proud and honored. El Palo Magazine ( a local magazine and that has the Articles written both in English and Spanish for the community and has done some wonderful pieces on local people in the community) allowed me to write a piece for them on Perimenopause/menopause. Someone really believed in me and I appreciate her for everything that she has done. The article is close to my heart because of my own experience and hope it helps others....

I love signs like when you have 4 out of 5 clients cancel and the evening is free and you were wanting some down time, your daughter buys you an awesome barbie mug to go with my barbie pjs. I don't see my clients cancelled as a negative because the stars aligned to get me that self care and yep my self care includes selfies, tea, diffuser, book, puzzles, journals, Candles, pink fluffy socks :)...i don't just preach self care i practice it..... have a calming evening and join me for some down time ( well at your house that is)!!!!
