Today is World Tuberculosis Day, marked in honor of Dr. Robert Koch, who made the initial announcement in 1882 of the discovery of Mycobacterium tuberculosis. Our residents had a wonderful time celebrating St. Patrick’s Day! ☘️ The day was filled with laughter, fun, and lots of festive spirit. From music and treats to great company, it was truly a celebration to remember.

A big shoutout to our amazing staff who went all out for Spirit Week—dressing up, bringing smiles, and making the day even more special for everyone. Your energy and creativity make all the difference!

Today is World Down Syndrome Day. Down syndrome is a condition that occurs when there is an extra chromosome at birth, which are genes that determine how our body looks and grows. Usually, people are born with 46 chromosomes, but people with Down syndrome have 47 chromosomes. The extra chromosome copy is trisomy 21.
