Staff updates:

We welcome Emme to our front desk! Casey will still be doing some very part time work with us. Please bear with us for billing and insurance issues as we make the adjustment to losing Casey.

Other staffing updates:

We ask your patience and understanding in August and September as Tammy and Lucy will be the only midwives staffing our center. We are sad to see Stephanie leave but also understand life happens….

Lucky for us, one of our amazing former students will be moving to PA and joining our midwife team in October!! Looking forward to Vanessa officially joining our team of dedicated midwives!

Jodie- our wonderful childbirth educator and birth assistant will be joining our team as an RN in September. She has been working hard for several years to make this transition. Strong work Jodie!

Great things are coming to your Reading birth community!!

Help us wish Good Luck to Casey as she spreads her wings!

Casey has been accepted for a nurse externship program at St. Joseph Penn State Hospital for this summer.

We will surely miss Casey welcoming our families into our center as today is officially her last day.
(Luckily for us she will still do some per diem stuff for us)

Good luck and congratulations Casey! You are going to do amazing things!!

Breastfeeding is more than nutrition—it's neurodevelopment in action. 🧠✨

Did you know that those precious feeding moments are literally wiring your baby's brain for life? From the oxytocin released during eye contact to the neural mapping that occurs with each suckling pattern, nature designed this beautiful connection for optimal brain development.

As a brain-based family chiropractor, I'm fascinated by how early nervous system patterns set the foundation for lifelong health. Breastfeeding challenges often have neurological components that gentle adjustments can help address.

Struggling with latch issues, head preference, or reflux? These could be signs of nervous system interference that pediatric chiropractic care might help resolve naturally.

Link in bio to book your free infant consultation. Let's support your breastfeeding journey and your baby's developing nervous system together.

Looking to secure someone to take care of our facility grounds for snow and ice next year.

With all the snow and ice this year, it has taken up too much headspace of me worrying about people slipping and falling or if they can get into to our center. Please hit me up with recommendations and names. Much appreciated!

What a wonderful day here at the Reading Midwife Center!

After 4 years of hard work and pinching pennies, we were finally able to qualify for a mortgage and SBA loan for a woman owned business to buy our building!!! We had settlement here at the center! (Just in case anyone was in labor)

This helps to ensure our future of caring for birthing families for many years to come!

We thank you, our community, for all of your support!

We are looking forward to a wonderful new year!

With love and gratitude,
Tammy and Lucy
