Dear FaithCare Family and Friends,
It is with both deep sadness and profound gratitude that we share the news of the passing of our dear friend, servant leader, and sister in Christ, Marion K. Moran, who went home to be with her Heavenly Father on November 14, 2025.
For more than thirty years, the story of FaithCare has been intertwined with the story of Marion and her beloved husband, Cliff. Few individuals have poured more love, prayer, and servant-hearted dedication into this ministry than the Morans. From the earliest days—before FaithCare had an office, a phone line, or even a clear shape—Marion and Cliff were already helping lay its foundation.
Marion was not only part of the founding group that helped spark the formation and growth of FaithCare—she became FaithCare’s first official employee, faithfully serving from a small room in their home that doubled as the very first FaithCare office. Her warm spirit, organizational gifts, and steadfast love helped transform a small fellowship group into a ministry that has since brought Health, Hope, and Healing to hundreds of thousands around the world.
In her years as a Guest Relations Representative at St. Francis Hospital, Marion was often the compassionate presence families first encountered in moments of fear or crisis. She became a bridge—pointing hurting people toward spiritual support and inviting FaithCare members to come alongside them. Many early FaithCare interventions happened because Marion recognized a need, opened a door, or spoke a gentle word at just the right moment.
Many FaithCare chapter meetings were held around Marion and Cliff’s dining room table—a table overflowing with prayer, encouragement, and the love of Christ. One resident, while sitting at that table, once said, “If it hadn’t been for FaithCare, I never would have made it through my residency,” a moment that deeply touched Marion’s heart.
Marion and Cliff served on three international FaithCare projects to Nigeria—pouring out love, comfort, and the hope of Christ to both patients and team members. Their influence shaped lives across continents.
In 2004, Marion and Cliff were recognized as the very first recipients of the Servant Heart Award, a fitting tribute to lives lived with humility, generosity, and joy in serving others.
