After nearly 30 years, it is with deep mixed feelings that I will be closing the Acupuncture Center of Reading at the end of August and moving my practice to the Wi******er Hospital Center for Healthy Living. I have absolutely loved treating people here and will miss it terribly. However, the Center for Healthy Living is very close and will offer me the ability to continue my healing work with the people of Reading and the surrounding communities.

In light of this move, I have a lot of acupuncture office equipment for sale: an electric height adjustable treatment table, a portable fold-up treatment table, two TDP heat lamps, an almost new computer printer, a monitor, assorted tables, desks, chairs, book shelves, filing cabinets...

Or better still, rent my space and buy all the stuff in it. This is a perfect space for a healing practice. There are two treatment rooms (one has a sink in it!), a waiting room and a private office. It is absurdly cheap at $750/mo including utilities and my landlord says he'll keep the rent where it is. The building is mostly healers- massage therapists, psychotherapists and child psychologists. It is fully handicap accessible and there is as parking lot at the building. The commuter rail stops 2 blocks away.

I am very pleased to report that as part of the Phase 2 reopening plan for Massachusetts, I am able to start treating people again!

I am currently scheduling sessions with an absolute commitment to safety. I will see one person at a time, with a half hour between sessions to allow me to clean everything that has been touched with hospital grade disinfectant and air out the treatment room. There will be no waiting room facilities, so I will ask people to call or text me when they arrive so I can let them know that the room is ready for them. I will be wearing a surgical mask and face shield, and I will ask people to wear a mask during the treatment. I will be taking everyone's temperature when they arrive and ask some screening questions.

I'm sorry for these inconveniences, but I think it's imperative to do everything possible to assure a safe healing experience for everyone I see. I hope you agree.

In keeping with the directives in Massachusetts, we are going to remain closed until further notice. I am absolutely committed to provided a safe and clean healing experience for my clients. We are committed to your safety and to offering you the highest level of health care. We use a linen service that launders to hospital sanitary standards; before every session treatment tables and pillows in their waterproof covers are wiped down with hospital grade disinfectant wipes and, of course, we wash hands and/or use hand sanitizer each time we enter a treatment room.
