Our BAYADA Skilled Nursing team in Erie, PA hosted a Trunk or Treat event outside their office. Employees, clients, and families came together, decorating their trunks, dressing in creative costumes, and enjoying a fun-filled day of trunk or treating.

We’re proud to announce that BAYADA has been awarded $1 million from the Regina Charitable Fund of the Philadelphia Foundation to sponsor 75 aspiring nurses in Montgomery County, PA, with $10,000 scholarships each.

Through our Advance to LPN Scholarship Program, eligible caregivers beginning as home health aides or CNAs can:

- Earn while they learn in a flexible work schedule that supports their schooling.
- Receive one-on-one coaching and peer events led by our nurse leaders.
- Transition seamlessly into our Nurse Residency Program once licensed.

This initiative isn’t just about education—it’s about building community strength, addressing the nursing shortage, and ensuring families receive compassionate, top-quality care — right in their homes.

North Carolina State Representative Grant Campbell recently visited BAYADA client Sharod Knox to see how home care makes independence possible.

After a life-changing injury, Sharod depends on skilled nursing and the dedication of his aunt, Wanda, to live safely at home. But with Medicaid rate cuts of 3–10%, families like the Knoxes are being pushed to the brink.

We’re grateful to Rep. Campbell and our Hearts for Home Care Advocacy advocates for standing up for clients who rely on home care every day.

Our behavioral health leaders from our Hawaii teams came together to volunteer at the annual Autism Society of Hawai'i's Swing for the Spectrum event. This golf tournament is dedicated to promoting inclusion and diversity for individuals on the autism spectrum.

Our team had a wonderful time connecting with the community, enjoying a day of golf, and helping raise funds to support the Autism Society of Hawaii’s mission. Thank you to the Autism Society of Hawaii for having us!

Our BAYADA Greensboro, NC Pediatric Office recently welcomed nursing students from ECPI University for a Tour and Explore event! Students got an inside look at our Nurse Residency Program and toured our state-of-the-art simulation lab, where they can build skills and confidence for their future in nursing.

HAPPY NURSES WEEK! It's time for today's fun fact about the Nursing profession!

The first nurse to join NASA was Dee O'Hara, who started working with the Mercury Seven in 1959. She became the first aerospace nurse assigned to NASA's first group of astronauts. O'Hara's role involved assisting with pre- and post-flight medical exams, data collection, and maintaining astronaut medical records. She was also involved in the recovery of astronauts after their flights.
