We went to the Reading Museum! 🏛️

Our residents had such a great time exploring the Downton Abbey exhibit! Seeing the beautiful clothing and elegant styles from the show up close was such a treat! 👒🎩

We also had a “wild” adventure in the animal exhibit, where everyone was amazed by the HUGE bear on display! 🐻

It’s always so special to spend the day learning, laughing, and making memories together.

We were so blessed to have Praise Christian Fellowship join us this past Saturday for a heartwarming "Crafts and Conversation" event here at Laurel Pointe Senior Living! 💛

Together, we created beautiful fall trees and painted pumpkins, filling the room with laughter, creativity, and joy. And let’s not forget the delicious snacks, warm butter pretzel nuggets and cinnamon sugar pretzel nuggets that hit the spot perfectly on a cozy fall afternoon! 🥨🍂

A very special thank you to Samantha, who planned this event flawlessly! From reaching out and coordinating every detail, to personally making those amazing pretzels, your thoughtfulness and care made this gathering so meaningful and memorable. We are truly grateful! 💕

We also want to give a heartfelt thank you to the wonderful volunteers who came alongside our residents with helping hands and warm hearts. Your presence made the day even more special.
And of course, a big thank you to Pastor Steve. we absolutely love when he visits (twice a month!) and are so grateful for the love, joy, and encouragement he brings each time. It’s always a gift when he and the amazing members of Praise Christian Fellowship choose to spend extra time with us.

Thank you again to everyone who helped make this day so special! We’re already looking forward to the next one. 🧡

🎃🐾 Pumpkin Treats & Puppy Smiles! 🐶❤️

Our incredible residents at Laurel Pointe Senior Living spent the day baking up some tail-wagging goodness homemade pumpkin dog treats for our four-legged friends at the Humane Society of Pennsylvania! 🧑‍🍳🍪🐕

From mixing and rolling to packaging each treat with love, this was more than just a baking project, it was a way to give back to the animals who bring so much joy to the world. 🐾💕

The residents were all smiles as they delivered the goodies, and the pups? Let’s just say tails were wagging non-stop! 🐕✨

Yesterday we got to meet a cute pup named Scout! Scout is one of the longest guests at the Humaine Society unfortunately. He is very well behaved and knows how to sit, give paw and comes to his name! He is 7 years old and is still looking for his furever home! For more information on Scout please contact the Humane Society of Pennsylvania. 🐕

We’re so proud of our community for showing that compassion, creativity, and connection have no age limit.

This week, we packed our bags (and our leis!) and took off on an unforgettable journey, no plane ticket needed! ✈️💃 Our community turned into a tropical Hawaiian paradise where age was just a number, and every day was an adventure. From hula dancing and lei making to island-themed crafts and delicious luau treats, our residents reminded us that the spirit of adventure never retires! 🌞🌊

Mahalo to our amazing staff, families, and residents for making this week so special. The smiles, laughter, and aloha spirit were truly contagious! Here’s to living life fully with joy, curiosity, and a little extra sunshine. 🌺

This morning, our residents enjoyed a peaceful start to the day with coffee ☕on the balcony and the soothing sounds of their favorite hymns. 🎵🎵 A beautiful way to connect, reflect and enjoy the fresh air together. 🔆

Today we had our very own dinner theater experience! It's been 85 years since the classic "The Wizard of Oz" Has graced screens everywhere. What better way to enjoy it then with fried chicken, potato salad, corn bread and chocolate cake! A special thank you to Caring Hospice for sponsoring this event!
