Saw this and had to share lol. Medical directors do get on these authorizations sometimes but they are only looking at a paper, not the patient. No context what so ever. Love being denied for more visits even though plans might say 25 visits per calander year. If I had to tell the story of why I hate insurance companies, this is definitely one component. Not to say we would ever not take insurance. Gotta make a video sometimes on the things I’ve seen insurance companies do over the years… it would make you mad as hell and think all insurance companies are just about the $$. Well…

Wishing everyone a Happy Thanksgiving! If you don’t know this recipe, you’ll wanna try it sometime 😀

Pomme Purée - Look for recipe by Gordon Ramsay (Attached Below). Yeah.. it’s mashed potatoes, but really good ones! Need a potato ricer though. We always end up putting more butter than it calls for and tweaking at the end. Chives and scallions give it a unique taste. Goes very well mixed in with stuffing!

Need to go to URGENT CARE but don’t have the time?!

We recently discovered CVS’s Minute Clinic. I was personally suffering from a sinus infection and knew I needed antibiotics. Within 30 mins of starting the process, I had a prescription at my pharmacy and I never left my house. They are options for many things but one specifically was sinus congestion. The person I spoke to asked me basic questions like have you taken a Covid test, how long has it been going on and what have you tried. It was super simple!!! Best of all I stopped in at urgent care that morning and the line was ridiculous so I left 😣
