We love seeing the creative ways customers utilize our ultraviolet light disinfection products to best work for them. Eisenhower Medical set up the Torch+ with a custom mask rotator to disinfect all the surfaces at the same time.

Mask shortages are reported across the country due to high demand. Eisenhower Health officials say the "Virus Avenger" would be used for emergencies.

The novel coronavirus is a kind of positive-sense single-stranded RNV virus, same as the SARS and MERS virus. Research on SARS found that this kind of virus is sensitive to UVC light and can be diminished with UVC exposure stronger than 90 μW/cm2. Contaminants typically enter a facility through one of four ways: air, water, supplies/ingredients, and people. Ambient air may be contaminated with or carry significant levels of a variety of potentially harmful microorganisms.
