Governor Phil Murphy has officially declared March as Social Work Month in New Jersey! 🏛️✨ This is a time to recognize the dedication, resilience, and impact of social workers across our state.

I’m thrilled to introduce Laurel, our new administrative assistant! Starting now, she’ll be your go-to for all things contact, scheduling changes, and referrals. I know many of you know how hard it is for me to step away from personally handling everything here at Guided Growth, but this shift allows me to be where I’m most needed—out from behind the front desk, and in the therapy room, working directly with you.

Laurel brings her amazing organization skills and a warm, welcoming spirit, and I’m confident you’ll find her as helpful and fun as I do. 🗓️🌟 This change is part of our ongoing growth, and just like my favorite quote “we are always one decision away from a completely different life.” For me, this decision is just the beginning of a new chapter that looks less like me stumbling through the schedule and more like what I love most, being here, with you and the important work we are doing together.

As the founder of Guided Growth LLC, it has always been my aspiration to find meaningful ways to give back to the community that has welcomed and supported my practice since its inception. With the expansion of my office space, I am now able to create groups that align with my passion for serving others and my firm belief that service is an integral aspect of self-care.

January’s Therapeutic Book Club represents a wonderful opportunity for us to connect, share insights, and make a positive impact on our local community. Today, I am delighted to share with you an opportunity that allows us to come together, engage in meaningful discussions, and contribute to a worthy cause.

All proceeds from this donation-only discussion will be dedicated to the Lunch Break charity, supporting those facing food insecurity in our community. Your presence and contribution will make a meaningful impact on the lives of others.
