Stacey Rose, PhD, LCSW and Jennifer Cory, M.S., LCSW are highly respected clinical psychotherapists with a combined 30+ years experience in family systems and relational dynamics, as well as all phases of trauma and loss. They have pooled this experience to help those going through divorce prepare for the road ahead so that they can emerge healthy, whole and hopeful about the future, while mediating the damage to themselves and their family that all too often accompanies relationship dissolution. This is neither legal counsel nor psychotherapy, but rather adjunctive consultation, education and bimonthly support groups that will provide a comprehensive understanding of divorce from the emotional and family dynamic perspective, and help clients effectively navigate the incredible challenges that can present in a divorce, preserving their own dignity and the dignity of the family in the process. We will help you evaluate your readiness for divorce from an emotional perspective; identify opportunities and facilitate healing during the divorce process as well as after; help clients diffuse and manage emotional reactivity that can inhibit progress; and help individuals and/or couples emerge from divorce separate but whole, with a transformed understanding of the family relationship, allowing all involved to go forward with as little subsequent damage as possible.
