What is faith?
Faith is complete trust or confidence in someone or something.
Faith is a profound, often, and unwavering trust or confidence in a person, concept, or, most commonly, a higher power (God), often without needing absolute, physical proof. It acts as a foundation for Christian life, offering assurance in things not yet seen, and influences how individuals navigate lifeβs challenges and relationships. It is often described as a, spiritual gift that guides, sustains, and strengthens belief.
It means that we live according to what the Scriptures say, even though we don't always see with our physical eyes. But we believe that what the Scriptures say is there or that we have received what we've asked for.
For example, the Scriptures speak much about how demons and fallen angels work. They give indications on how to recognize when demons are in people and when they are around. The Bible teaches us how to sense them. So, we live with this in mind by our faith.
Also, Jesus said that the Holy Spirit is with us and in us, and he would guide, teach, comfort, etc. So we live with this understanding by faith, recognizing when the Holy Spirit is doing his work with and in us.
