Reminder:
One of the things that I find makes the biggest difference for new moms, but can also be the hardest, is finding a circle of other moms who can support or commiserate with you.

That’s why, every month I invite you to read a book with me, and then come out to discuss the book, or parenting, or something else entirely.

This month, our book is the Anxious Generation by Jonathan Haidt, which discusses how technology, social media, and “overparenting” have changed the way children have grown up since 1995.

I’ll be at Nina Pin in Albany Thursday (1/29) with my copy, and anyone is welcome to join me for conversation- book related or otherwise.

With a major winter storm potentially affecting dozens of states, we recognize the concerns many have about stored milk.

Updated to add: A stand alone freezer will maintain temperature for 48 hours in a power outage if unopened. A freezer compartment within a fridge will maintain temperature for 24 hours if unopened.

What an amazing year of beautiful families welcoming new lives. I was honored to help 33 families welcome their babies. 27 of those were girls and 6 boys. 26 vaginal births, 7 belly births (3 scheduled). I am ready to help welcome all of the 2026 babies! ❤️
