This is fun! Get creative!

We are calling all creatives and artists to join the FIRST Art in the Alley Challenge.

We want people who imagine their artwork, collections, or little scenes placed in the overlooked crooks and crevices of a downtown alleyway. Rusted pipes that turn into a canvas. Mini figurines that are scaling the brick walls. Get inspired and help us bring our alleyways to life.

You have only until JULY 10th to get in your submission for this project, so don't dilly dally!

The artwork submitted for the annual SOAR art contest this year was PHENOMONAL. The judges all had a really hard time selecting winners but ultimately they chose three amazing artworks to join the permanent collection at Red Wing High School.

Today a small group of art students took an adventure to Rochester to see a BEAUTIFUL new exhibit at the Rochester Art Center. We visited the Heart of the City experience in the Peace Plaza then journeyed on a little Art Walk to the museum.
Thanks to Rochester Art Center for hosting and to Mayo Clinic for the bus grant!

GO SEE THIS SHOW. No photos were allowed but trust me- it’s worth it to go in person💜. It even includes works by RWHS alumni Cole Redhorse Taylor Art! So proud.
