July Milestone of the Month: Holly Kolander 💙

This month we’re proud to celebrate Holly Kolander’s five-year milestone with Hiawatha Homecare!

In just five years, Holly has made a lasting impression through the skilled care she provides and the heart she brings to every shift. Her compassion, creativity, and deep sense of purpose have touched both her clients and their families in meaningful ways.

“Being a nurse for Hiawatha has allowed me to help some very special kids remain at home as much as possible—which I am so grateful for!” Holly shares. “I hope I’ve also helped bring happiness and joy into their lives. It feels like my calling as a nurse!”

To the families she supports, that calling is clear.

“Holly is one of the most compassionate and caring people I know,” says her client’s mom. “She talks to my son like any other 8-year-old—not like a baby—and goes above and beyond by doing so many fun activities with him.”

Whether she’s out on a walk, tackling schoolwork, or helping her client feel seen and respected, Holly brings a presence that defines great homecare.
