Matthew has been an important part of our Deer Crest team and is known for his kindness, dedication, and willingness to help whenever needed.
When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Matthew shared “spending time with the residents and hearing their stories.”
Outside of work, Matthew enjoys camping, being outdoors, and spending time with family and friends.

Quilts of Valor- A Heartfelt Thank You

Last week, we were honored to welcome a wonderful group of quilters who created and presented personalized quilts to our veteran residents. Each quilt was made with love and gratitude, wrapping our heroes in comfort and appreciation for their service.

It was a truly moving event, filled with pride, smiles, and a few happy tears. ❤️💙

Thank you to the Quilts of Valor group for your generosity and reminding us all of the incredible sacrifices our veterans have made.

We were honored to be a sponsor of this year’s Walk to End Alzheimer’s. In addition to walking for research and the hope of a cure, we walked in honor of the residents of our Dimensions® Memory Care communities. We also celebrated the incredible care teams whose dedication and compassion make a profound difference in the lives of residents and their families every day. With heartfelt gratitude, we thank all who joined us in this meaningful effort.

This past Saturday, our Deer Crest Cruisers team proudly participated in the Walk to End Alzheimer’s with the Alzheimer’s Assosication. We walked together in honor of our residents, families and loved ones impacted by Alzheimer’s and dementia - and are thrilled to share that Deer Crest received the award for ✨Top Facility Team! ✨

💜A big thank you to everyone who walked, donated and supported this important cause. Every step brings us closer to a world without Alzheimer’s. 💜

🌟 September Employee Spotlight: Cody Morth 🌟

This month we are excited to recognize Cody Morth, our Maintenance Assistant! Cody has been with Deer Crest for 3 1/2 years and truly goes above and beyond with his day to day work.

When asked what he enjoys most about his role, Cody shared:
👉 “Working with the residents and getting to know them and my coworkers.”

Outside of work, Cody enjoys tractor pulls, deer hunting, and spending time with his dog Dozer and his chickens. 🐾🐔

When asked what motivates him to come to work each day, his answer was simple and heartfelt:
👉 “The residents.” 💙
