North State Family Counseling Center, Inc. is proud to announce our rebrand to Avida Counseling Group!

The name Avida is inspired by the word vida, meaning "life". For us, it symbolizes growth, vitality, and possibility—reflecting our deep belief that meaningful change is always possible.

“Avida” also carries echoes of the natural healing and Eastern philosophies that emphasize balance, wholeness, and intentional living.

While our name has changed, our mission remains the same: to provide compassionate, focused, and evidence-based mental health care that helps individuals, couples, and families grow, heal, and thrive.—care that honors both the science and the soul of healing.

North State Family Counseling Center, Inc. is offering time slots for Marathon Couples Counseling. This is an amazing opportunity to work through 6months to a year of therapy in a few days. Marathons are available in 1/2 day to 5 day formats. You will have the full attention of a Licensed Marriage and Family therapist who has completed Level 3 in the Gottman Method for Couples Therapy, is an approved Seven Principles for Making Marriage Work facilitator and is a Prepare and Enrich Certified Provider.
