Sheena has gone above and beyond to support the ongoing needs of our Finance Department. During recent staffing shortages, she stepped up to help wherever needed — all while staying on top of her daily responsibilities.

There is Strength Through Recovery! Come get connected to a community that is fun and believes recovery is possible.

Join us from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Saturday, September 13, at the Lake Redding Park Pavilion and Gazebo for FREE food, carnival snacks and family fun.

Listen to inspiring testimonials from people in recovery and talk with substance use treatment providers at the event's resource fair.

This annual September event is organized in observance of Recovery Happens Month, a time when we celebrate the gains made by people in recovery, educate the community about treatment and unite to break down stigma surrounding substance use challenges.

Recovery Happens is made possible by a collaboration between local nonprofit treatment providers, sober living homes, health clinics and government agencies. The committee works throughout the year to plan the month’s festivities.

💙 Redding Rancheria Center for Advanced Care – Expanding Specialty Care 💙

Please join us in welcoming Dr. Mohamed Khan, MD – Cardiologist to the Redding Rancheria Center for Advanced Care! 👨‍⚕️

Dr. Khan is an Interventional Cardiologist and Peripheral Arterial Specialist with a strong interest in hypertension. Born in South Africa, he went on to study medicine at the University of Alexandria in Egypt on a full United Nations Scholarship, graduating as valedictorian in 1983.

Inspired by his late mother’s battle with diabetes and heart disease, Dr. Khan dedicated his career to advancing cardiovascular care. He completed his fellowship training at UC Davis Medical Center and went on to help pioneer an accredited peripheral arterial disease interventional training program, training more than 1,000 physicians in lifesaving techniques.

In 2001, he was recognized as one of only 194 physicians in the United States and Canada designated as a clinical hypertension specialist. Among his many awards, Dr. Khan is most proud of founding a free medical clinic in honor of his mother, now affiliated with UC Davis.

We are honored to welcome Dr. Khan to our team, where he will continue his mission of providing exceptional care to our patients and community. 🌟
