Native women are invited to come together for an evening of connection, healing, and wellness within our community.

Join us on February 18, 2026 for the Native Women’s Talking Circle. This gathering offers a safe and supportive space to share, listen, and uplift one another. Dinner, an activity, and fun will be provided.

Shasta County Health and Human Services Agency’s Public Health Branch is investigating a confirmed case of measles in Shasta County. The patient is currently in isolation from others to prevent the spread of this highly contagious disease until their infectious period is over. HHSA Public Health Branch staff are contacting anyone who may have been in contact with this person during their 8-day contagious period.

HHSA staff are working with the following locations to contact employees and members of the public who were at:
• Osaka Sushi, 1340 Churn Creek Rd., on January 23 from 6:30 to 10 p.m.
• Cross Point Church, during a basketball game on January 24 from 1:45 to 5 p.m.
• Costco, 4805 Bechelli Lane, Redding, on January 24 from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m.
• Churn Creek Health Care Clinic on January 28 from 1:45 to 5 p.m.
