We have such a wonderful time putting together the fresh flower bouquets for the tables in our dining halls each week! With resident participation we craft each one with its own unique flare! Look for Floral Arranging on your monthly activities calendar and remember to take time to smell the roses! 🌷

Karaoke anyone? Every Friday afternoon in our Memory Care Atrium, Russell and Kathleen host a little musical magic: a karaoke sing-along. Each week, a new brave soul picks up the microphone and gains Hilltop Springs stardom, for what that's worth. Residents, staff, and family members have all joined the fun. It's remarkable how those old songs never leave us. Don't miss out!

We had a delightful time in the courtyard, drinking strawberry lemonade (thank you, Jimmy) and playing some suspenseful games of Jenga. The competition was fierce as Terumi competed against Carol, and Carl competed against Royce. We could not have found a more enjoyable way to spend the besutiful morning.

We had an incredible Family & Friends Pizza and Karaoke evening with our memory care residents, their families and friends, along with some very fun staff participation. It was Carol's birthday so she was queen of the event--she sang karaoke with her daughter, granddaughter, and great-granddaughter. Carol's family brought cake, our family council members brought ice cream bars, and EVERYONE brought the fun! Russ and Kathleen spearheaded the karaoke and several brave souls picked up the microphones and entertained the masses. Thank you all for making it a special evening. Let's do it again!

We have had so many beautiful flowers, vegetables and herbs this summer in our community garden! Take a few minutes every now and then to enjoy our ever changing outdoor garden space!

Our F.A.I.TH.E. Award this month goes out to an employee who truly embodies the spirit of fun: Tanya Snead.

Tanya’s energy is contagious, and her creativity shines through every themed day we host. Whether it’s dressing up in full costume or getting everyone involved in the festivities, Tanya always goes above and beyond to make our community feel joyful and connected.

But what truly sets Tanya apart is her heart. Her dedication to our residents is unmatched. She brings smiles, laughter, and comfort to everyone she interacts with, and she does it all with genuine care and enthusiasm.

Tanya, thank you for being a bright light in our community. We are incredibly lucky to have you on our team!

From antiques to antiquities, our "Summer Dust Off Antique Show" gave opportunity for residents to display some of their very old treasures, dating as for back as 3000 BC. Hosted by Independent Living resident, Jim Mona, it was an afternoon filled with interesting stories of times gone by. Thank you all for your participation in a wonderful afternoon.
