***Redding Update***
The American Red Cross will be opening a center for individuals displaced by flooding at Pilgrim Congregational Church, 2850 Foothill Blvd. Doors are now open.

Important notes:
- Roads leading to the center may still be flooded. If it is safe to do so, community members are encouraged to shelter in place until conditions improve.
- Pets are not permitted at this shelter.

Road closures currently in effect:
-Jewell Lane
-Hwy 273 / Branstetter
-Hwy 273 / Buenaventura
-Shasta View Drive (between Tarmac & Old Alturas)
-Old Alturas (between Shasta View & Victor)
-North Bonnyview & East Bonnyview

When we reached out to a recent patient’s wife about an experience she shared her response was resounding! ❤️💫

Ginger’s Reply:
“YES, of course. Bob is truly amazing. At 86 years old, after battling cancer for three long years—and winning—he continues to show incredible strength.

Just a week ago Thursday he had a pacemaker placed, and on this Thursday he underwent a TAVR valve replacement. Through it all, he did remarkably well, and we are beyond grateful for SRMC.

From pre-op to the procedure itself, and especially the extraordinary nursing care in the PAC unit, we felt completely supported every step of the way. The attention to Bob’s needs, down to the smallest details, was deeply comforting during an overwhelming time. Every single person we encountered radiated pride in their work, compassion in their care, and genuine kindness.

We were not only impressed—we were truly blessed. Please feel free to share this message.
