As a chiropractor, I’m often asked how I stay healthy and fit. It’s something I’m passionate about, so I want to share the habits that have truly worked for me. Here’s my daily routine for optimal health:
🛏️ Sleep: 7-8 hours a night, early to bed, early to rise.
💪 Exercise: Early morning gym session (core, weights, and a jog).
🥗 Food: Real food only – fruits, veggies, lean meats.
💧 Hydration: Water all day long (Yeti cup for the win!).
👐 Chiropractic Care: Been consistent since I was 19 – helps me stay proactive in my health.

Dr. Aaron Seaton from The Chiropractic Place shares a tip:
Start with weights, then move to cardio.

Weight training uses stored glycogen, so by the time you get to cardio, you’re tapping into fat reserves for energy. This order helps boost muscle performance and can aid in weight loss if that’s your goal.

The ideal scenario?
Separate weight and cardio sessions. But if time is tight, doing cardio after weights still maximizes your workout. Plus, regular cardio significantly reduces your risk of cardiovascular disease, which remains the leading cause of death in the U.S.

Make every workout count. 💪

Dr. Seaton recommends doing cardio after weight training to burn more fat and maximize benefits, or ideally doing them at separate times if possible.
