We had a great Cinco de Mayo celebration! Fajitas, enchiladas, nachos, rice, beans, churros and mock margaritas! Then we took turns beating on a cute piñata! 🤣😂The residents took some great swings on it but it took the mighty caregivers to get the candy to flow out! 🪅🍫🍬🪅

One of our residents in House 3, Minnie, used to be an avid quilter! She made quilts for her children and grandchildren! This one (made for her grandson) was entered in Anderson’s annual quilt show but Minnie didn’t know it! Her daughters surprised her and Lavender Hills’ bus service was able to help make this trip a reality! 💗
