RDR member Wyatt Pickens 325R had a great day at the 2025 Shasta Dam Grand Prix! Wyatt earned 2nd place and wrapped up 1st in the spring series championship.

When not tearing up the course, Wyatt was busy volunteering by flipping burgers at the RDR food station.

Congratulations Wyatt and thank you for being one of the many RDR volunteers who help make the event a success.

RDR’s second😅youngest racer at the 2025 Shasta Dam Grand Prix was not satisfied with just one race!

Bradlynn Brauning 202R, 13 years of age took 1st place in the “B” Girl’s race on Saturday piloting her 85cc moto and earned a 2nd place podium position in the “C” Women’s race piloting her 250cc bike on Sunday!

Bradlynn has been racing as much as she can and her effort is really showing. She is at that stage in her racing development that she is making some big leaps with her riding skill set at every race💪.

Keep an eye on Bradlynn. We are confident we are just seeing the beginning of a great race career with the sky being the limit.

Shout out to RDR’s very own Zaya Taylor on his performance at the 2025 Shasta Dam Grand Prix. Zaya brought home 3rd place in the “A” Senior class.
Zaya has been volunteering at just about every RDR event the last several years. Below is an email Zaya sent to the club that hopefully mirrors what all the weekends participants experienced.
“As a participant this year, I got to experience all aspects of the event—from the gate crew, sign-ups, RDR kitchen, and start crew to the crazy announcer, the countless volunteers cheering me on, and of course—the course. Everything was top-notch. Thank you for providing an environment where I could see where I rank and push myself to the limit! My tank is empty, and I’m feeling completely satisfied. What a great weekend—thanks, everyone!

Events like the 2025 Shasta Dam Grand Prix do not happen without volunteers. The pictures are only a small sample of the 70 plus RDR members who on e again answered the call and made the event a success.

P.S. if you are not a member of a club that hosts races/events, please consider joining your local club. Races and events like these only happen with huge volunteer support💪.

The Redding Dirt Rider would like to recognize RDR member Charles Lurhman for being the 2025 Shasta Dam Grand Prix Race Steward. Charles is a long time D36 member/competitor and RDR member. Running a race weekend no small task and only a very few will have the gumption to take such it on. Charles believed it was his time to step up and give back to the sport and club he so enjoys. Thank you Charles. Well done💪
