Dr. Randy Tate is a highly-trained, board certified facial plastic and reconstructive surgeon. He graduated from the University of California at Santa Barbara with a Bachelor of Science in Biological Science. He received his Medical Degree from the University of California at San Francisco. Dr. Tate completed his Internship in General Surgery followed by four years of residency training in Otolaryngology/Head and Neck Surgery. In addition, he was selected for a prestigious fellowship program in Facial Plastic & Reconstructive Surgery at the University of California at Davis Medical Center. There he was personally mentored by a world renowned physician. Due to his extensive training in this specialty area, Dr. Tate uses state-of-the-art techniques and procedures for the rejuvenation and reconstruction of the face.

A very common procedure Dr. Tate does is an upper blepharoplasty. An upper blepharoplasty is a surgical procedure that corrects drooping or baggy upper eyelids by removing excess skin or fat to improve both appearance and vision. The surgery involves making incisions along the natural eyelid crease, with the goal of creating a more youthful and natural look. This patient came in because she felt like her eyelids were hindering her eyesight. And complained of heavy eyelids and forehead fatigue at the end of the day.
