God is a God of details. The Christmas season powerfully affirms that there is no difference between preborn and born human life.

In the Gospel of Luke, the Greek word “brephos” is used in Scripture to describe a baby in the womb, a newborn, and an older child.

🤍 Brephos as a preborn child (Luke 1:41).
🤍 Brephos as a newborn (Luke 2:12, 16)
🤍 Brephos as an infant and child (Luke 18:15-16)

One word. One meaning. One truth: life is life—before and after birth.

This Advent, as we reflect on the miracle of Christ’s birth, we are reminded why our work matters. Thanks to faithful donors and partners like you, our center is able to protect and care for brephos, the smallest and most vulnerable lives, and walk alongside women and families every step of the way.

When the angel told Mary she would conceive by the Holy Ghost and bear a Son, her response was one of humility and faith: “And Mary said, Behold the handmaid of the Lord; be it unto me according to Thy word. And the angel departed from her” (Luke 1:38).

Although Mary faced uncertainty, danger, and an unknown future, she placed her complete trust in God and felt blessed to be chosen as the mother of His Son, Jesus.

At Life Light, we walk with women who also receive unexpected news — women who are afraid, unsure, and in need of hope. Through your support, we can offer them compassion, truth, and the encouragement they need to choose courage over fear.

May we all reflect Mary’s faithful response and answer God’s call with courage and obedience: “…be it unto me according to Thy word.” 🤍

According to the latest report from the Charlotte Lozier Institute, pregnancy centers are not only meeting the challenges of serving communities in post-Dobbs America, but they are also thriving. The report covers 2,775 pregnancy centers across the United States during the 2024 calendar year.

Some of the report’s highlights:
• Pregnancy centers provided an estimated $452 million in total value of free services and material goods. This is a 48% increase in the value of material goods since 2022.
• Pregnancy centers saw 1,012,976 new clients.
• Pregnancy centers provided 6,353,386 packs of diapers, 1,604,996 packs of wipes, 4,980,839 baby outfits, and 373,531 cans of formula.
• 8 in 10 pregnancy centers provided free or low-cost medical services, staffed by over 10,000 medical professionals.
• 81% of pregnancy centers provided ultrasound services.
• 92% of pregnancy centers provided material item services.
• 85% of pregnancy centers provided prenatal & parenting programs.
• 29% of pregnancy centers provide abortion pill reversal.
• 98% of clients self-reported a positive experience.
