I have known since I was a child that serving people was what I wanted to do with my life. It was in my early twenties when I realized serving through health care was more specifically where my gifting lay. I worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant for a few years with special needs clients and love being in that environment. As I have witnessed poor health care around the world I became aware how urgent this need is. A deep desire for women’s health in the nations keeps me motivated through my Midwifery studies through Mercy In Action. The more I discovered the role a Doula played the more I understood how important this would be in a woman’s birth experience. I am so excited to partner with other Doulas in the Doula Alliance, as sisters, to serve the women around us.
