This interview addresses the question, “Is therapy the problem, not the solution.” Sending your children to the wrong therapist can be detrimental. Teens may need a kick in the butt, not emotional enabling over insane bu****it. Higher Ground Counseling has no concern of what is politically correct. Only what is good for our children. Most of our culture and politics are destructive. We see our role at Higher Ground Counseling as being supportive of parents trying to protect their teens from our insane culture, public education, and psychological/philosophical lies. We are here to help!! 530-941-9003

You are a current or former psychotherapist (includes interns, trainees, associates, and licensed psychotherapists).

You have experience treating law enforcement personnel reporting psychological trauma.

About the Study:

I am conducting a study on therapist perception of law enforcement psychological trauma. Using therapist’s perspectives, my goal is to better understand how psychologically traumatic events and moral injury contribute to psychological trauma in law enforcement officers. The title of my study is: Therapeutic Perspectives of Contributing Factors in Law Enforcement Psychological Trauma.

To participate in this study, or if you have any questions, please contact joshua.ascherman@my.calsouthern.edu or call (530) 487-5570.
