Today at Willow Springs, our Baking Club celebrated National Chocolate Chip Cookie Day the best way we know how… by making them from scratch!

From cracking eggs to stirring in the chocolate chips, our residents were hands-on and all-in. The kitchen was filled with laughter and we all got to enjoy some fresh baked cookies together. 🍪🤎

Happy National Lasagna Day from Willow Springs!
Our amazing residents celebrated by making lasagna rolls for cooking club. They mixed the filling, rolled them up, and baked them to perfection. Nothing brings people together like good food and great company❤️🍝

Our residents have been getting creative this week as we prepare for our big Block Party on August 7th! They’ve been busy painting colorful, fruit themed mason jars that will be used as centerpieces for the event and they’re turning out so cute!

The project isn’t quite finished yet, but we’re having so much fun bringing these decorations to life. Stay tuned to see the final results and more behind-the-scenes moments as we get closer to the big day!

Our Cooking Club decided to do their weekly meeting a day early so we could do a Mac & Cheese Bar for National Mac & Cheese Day. Carlo made a batch of Mac & Cheese based off of our Cooking Club discussion on their recipes. They then scooped up a serving for everyone (staff included). They added toppings based on everyone’s preference.
