Too Hot to Trot—Let’s Chill the Clubhouse!
Help Roughout Ranch Foundation Beat the Heat! ☀️🐎

Summer will be hot—and so will our clubhouse! We need your help installing an air conditioning unit before the blazing sun turns Self Determination Tuesdays into a sweat fest.

Your donation will bring sweet, cool relief to our program participants who may gather in the clubhouse during a session. Everyone deserves a place to chill and a moment of quiet comfort to regulate.

Let’s make this summer “No Sweat” at Roughout Ranch! Every dollar helps us bring in the breeze and keep the good times rolling—without the heatstroke.

Artistic Adventures is hosted by Roughout Ranch and brought to you by Artistry Outpost with Angel. She is a very talented artist who travels to the ranch from Weaverville to provide art to a client and his caregiver. He is now selling his artwork to help offset the cost of his enrichment activities.

Artistic Adventures is the perfect bi-monthly event for artists of all ages and skill levels!
Join us for an exciting lineup of artistic experiences, including:

Painting Pottery Weaving Drawing
Dream Catchers Beading Paper Crafts
Wire Art Wood Burning Kids Craft Projects … and so much more!

No experience? No problem! Our workshops are designed for all skill levels, with expert guidance to help you create something unique.

We’re thrilled to welcome teens from Spectrum Center School and Programs to our ranch twice a month for the next three months—and hopefully beyond! As part of Spectrum’s vocational program, they’ll gain hands-on experience in property management, maintenance, and ranch upkeep.

Spectrum provides diverse learning environments tailored to different educational needs, helping students develop valuable skills for the future."

Families seeking an alternative to traditional adult day programs for their adult sons or daughters enrolled in the Self-Determination Program or not can explore Roughout Ranch's Self-Determination Tuesdays, a unique and engaging option tailored to individual needs. 9am to 1pm, 48 week/year.

It was an incredible day at Roughout Ranch, hosted by the Roughout Ranch Foundation, for the Sunrise Mountain Wellness Center members who came out for their quarterly event of the year! 🐾🌞

Upon arrival, the participants were greeted by Bella the pig 🐷, Dots, and Oreo, our adorable Nigerian Dwarf goats 🐐🐐, who set the tone for a delightful day with all the critters.

Some participants couldn’t wait to get up close and personal with Waldo, the donkey 🦙; Puck, the Shetland pony 🐴; and our majestic Mustangs, Dusty and Chili 🐎. Others enjoyed a more peaceful experience, relaxing outside the corral and soaking in the serene atmosphere 🌿.

The first part of the session focused on bonding and grooming the animals🖌️, followed by a fun-filled time leading the horses around barrels in the corral 🐎.

It was an unforgettable experience for everyone, and we’re already looking forward to welcoming them back next quarter! 💫🎉
