Courtney Beilfuss, our COO, has been part of the spa since 2015, starting as a massage therapist and growing into the role she holds today. From day one, she’s brought a calm, caring energy that clients and our team both love.

In 2020, she stepped into the role of Executive Assistant, taking on more behind-the-scenes responsibility and helping shape how things run with intention and organization. In 2022, she took an even bigger step—buying in and becoming a co-owner.

These days, Courtney is a big part of what keeps everything flowing—from supporting the team to making sure each client’s experience feels smooth and relaxed from start to finish.

Meet our CEO, Janine Susich✨

What started as a passion for beauty grew into something so much bigger. Janine began her journey as a nail tech, building her skills and dedication to the industry from the ground up. In October 2003, she and her husband Mark took a leap and purchased Urban Retreat- and the rest is history.

Through hard work, vision, and heart, Janine has helped transform Urban Retreat into the spa it is today. From big-picture planning to the day-to-day operations, she’s deeply involved in every detail, ensuring everything runs smoothly and every client experience is exceptional.
