Postpartum mama and baby massages are my most sweatiest magical offering. It’s an intimate experience for both. I started inviting baby’s to join their mother’s on my table for massages way back when I was a doula. In the early months after birth Mama and baby are still one unit. It’s important the pair stay together to establish a good breastfeeding relationship and bonding.🤱🏾Mother’s can come for a massage and receive all the benefits without worrying about their newborns needing them while they are away.
Postpartum massage can provide a holistic approach to recovery, supporting new mothers physically, emotionally, and mentally.
Benefits include:
*Reduced muscle tension and soreness:
Help’s release muscle knots and improve circulation, reducing pain and discomfort.
*Enhanced lymphatic drainage:Massage stimulates the lymphatic system, helping to remove excess fluids and reduce swelling.
*Improved posture: Can address postural imbalances caused by pregnancy and breastfeeding.
*Accelerated healing:Promotes blood flow to the affected areas, aiding in the healing process.
*Stress reduction:Provides relaxation and stress relief, which is crucial for new mothers who may experience anxiety and exhaustion.
*Improved mood:Can release endorphins, natural mood boosters that help combat postpartum depression.
*Enhanced body image: Help’s restore the body’s shape and reduce stretch marks, boosting self-confidence.
*Bonding with baby: Can provide a nurturing and intimate experience between mother and child.
*Increased milk production: Help’s stimulate milk flow by improving circulation to the breasts.
*Improved sleep: Promotes relaxation and reduces pain, leading to better sleep quality.
*Reduced risk of postpartum hemorrhage: can help stimulate uterine contractions, which may reduce the risk of postpartum bleeding.
*Hormonal regulation:Help’s balance hormones, which can fluctuate significantly after childbirth.
👶Baby’s are welcome to come up to 8weeks old.
