We meet every Wednesday in Redlands at 6:30pm If new, please arrive 20 minutes early.

We are a local zen group affiliated with Yokoji Zen Mountain Center led by Tom Chigen Bartholomew Sensei. We meet every Wednesday evening at 6:30 pm for zazen/ kinhin (sitting/ walking meditation) and dharma talk/ discussion. Located at Quan Am Buddhist Meditation Temple near the corner of Outer Hwy 10 S and 18th St. (12670 18th St, Redlands, CA. 92373)

Please arrive 10 minutes early, in order to find your place and settle in. Meditation Instruction for those new to Zen practice will be provided. A Zen Meditation Instruction video is also available on Youtube.com uploaded by Yokoji Zen Mountain Center.

I was informed that Quan Am’s New Year Ceremonies are this Wednesday (1/29/25), so we must cancel our program. Sister TQ invites everyone to their event, but our program is canceled. We will resume on February 5th.

The Abbess of Quan Am Buddhist Meditation Center, where Citrus Zen meets, has invited us to their Ullambana (Obon) Festival this Sunday (8/27/23) at 10:00 a.m. Chigen Sensei will provide a dharma talk in English to help kick things off. Please arrive early to find parking and get settled in.
