July Savvy Senior travel was Egypt. Our residents enjoyed an unforgettable journey to lands of Pharaohs, pyramids and ancient wonders. Our residents took a step back in time as we explored the excitement, hardships, and hopes of the 1800's California Gold Rush, Through story telling, historical facts and, hands-on activities. We learned how this pivotal era shaped California and the nation. From panning for gold to learning about life in the mining camps, It was fun and educational journey through one of the most fascinating times in history.

Our Savvy Senior Soiree was "Endless Pawsabilities". Summerfield of Redlands partnered with our local rescues and shelters to support animal adoptions and donations. We encourage everyone to contribute items such as blankets, pillows, leashes, collars and any other essential items. Summerfield was able to donate doggie toys, Stuffy's and other items. It was was Paws-itively the best day ever with our furry friends.
