July Savvy Senior travel was Egypt. Our residents enjoyed an unforgettable journey to lands of Pharaohs, pyramids and ancient wonders. We also experience the music, and a taste of Egypt as are our Culinary Dept served Mahshi Waraq Enab. ( Rice wrap up in a grape Leaf) while enjoying Egyptian green tea.

Our residents took a step back in time as we explored the excitement, hardships, and hopes of the 1800's California Gold Rush, Through story telling, historical facts and, hands-on activities. We learned how this pivotal era shaped California and the nation. From panning for gold to learning about life in the mining camps, It was fun and educational journey through one of the most fascinating times in history.
