Dr. Carter has been doing lingual frenulectomies (tongue tie repairs) for over 15 years and laser lingual and maxillary labial (lip tie) repairs for seven years. Trained by dentists with expertise in this area along with using her breastfeeding training and knowledge, Dr. Carter is well equipped to first consult to assess the need. If decided that either procedure, or both, would be beneficial, the procedure is then scheduled. As one of the few pediatricians in California trained to do this procedure, she's successfully treated many babies over the years, supporting breastfeeding in cases where it may not have been possible.

Thanks to all our patients, big and little, for stopping by our booth today and saying “hello”! We love the families we serve and seeing you out and about is such a treat!
We are so proud to support and all the amazing work they do for children in our community and all that they do to make Redlands be the great town that it is!
We were delighted to have join us and donate their time and supplies so that runners and spectators alike could get free photo booth strips. If you’re looking for a fun addition to your events, definitely check them out!

Our pediatrician and pediatric nurse practitioners are board certified and are honored to take care of all children, from all backgrounds, in the community we serve. As pride month comes to an end we share the American Academy of Pediatrics’ official statement:
All major medical organizations, including the American Academy of Pediatrics, American Psychiatric Association, and American Medical Association, agree that gender-affirming care is necessary and can be lifesaving. Stigma within schools and communities is the leading trigger for LGBTQIA+ victimization.

We will continue to demonstrate love and service to everyone equally.

We will be closed Monday June 20 in observance of Juneteenth, our new federal holiday. Some ways we’ll be celebrating are by spending time with our loved ones, learning more about black history, reading books by black authors and supporting black owned businesses. If you’re in and around Redlands, check out the festival in Sylvan Park on Sunday beginning at 8am and ending at 8pm. There will be food, shopping and history shared, evening fireworks are planned for the end of the day! What are some suggestions you have of books you’ll be reading and ways you’ll be sharing this holiday with your kids?

New dates!
Five weekly sessions beginning Tuesday, June 7 from 3:00 - 4:00pm in our conference room (the admin area you usually don’t see!).
This class is led by a trained instructor who will teach you infant massage techniques on your baby that have been shown to help soothe and relax babies. It’s also another great way to spend time bonding with your baby!
This class is free to the first cohort! There are a few spots left. Email customer.service@gardenpediatrics.com to sign up.
