Goodbye bridge 👋, hello implant! 🦷✨
Our patient wanted a more permanent solution instead of their old bridge. We gently removed the bridge at the middle tooth (the “pontic”) and placed a dental implant in that space. Now they’re on their way to a stronger, healthier, and more natural smile! 😁💪

🔎 Exam revealed a deep 10+ mm pocket on the ML surface, plus a sinus tract on the lingual.
📸 CBCT showed a classic “J-shaped” radiolucency reaching the crest of the bone — strongly pointing toward a vertical root fracture.

👉 Prognosis was unfavorable, so the tooth was extracted.

🦷✨ Cracked Tooth Syndrome ✨🦷
That mysterious tooth pain when you chew on something crunchy… then nothing when you bite again? 👀 That could be a crack hiding inside your tooth.

Unlike a cavity, cracks don’t always show up on X-rays and the tooth might look fine from the outside. Symptoms often include:
✅ Sharp pain on biting/release
✅ Sensitivity to hot/cold
✅ Discomfort that comes and goes

Left untreated, cracks can deepen and threaten the nerve of the tooth. Treatment depends on the severity — from bonding 🦷 to crowns 👑 and sometimes even root canal therapy.
