🦷 Tooth Wear Explained
Ever wonder why your teeth look worn down? Let’s break it down:

👉 Attrition – Tooth-to-tooth contact from grinding or clenching. Think night grinding = flat, worn biting edges.

👉 Erosion – Acid damage from things like soda, reflux, or citrus. It dissolves enamel—no bacteria needed!

👉 Abfraction – Tiny wedge-shaped notches near the gumline. Caused by stress and flexing of the tooth, not brushing!

👉 Abrasion – Physical wear from aggressive brushing or abrasive toothpaste. Looks like scooped-out areas near the gums.
