• Determine whether multivitamin supplements are necessary

Ultraviolet rays are the cause of most skin cancers and spreading awareness on properly protecting your skin from the sun’s strong UV rays is critical.

The American College of Dermatology recommends the following to protect yourself:
• Seek shade when appropriate
• Wear sun-protective clothing

We Give Because We Care.

It’s not just what we do, it’s who we are.

Brian Tipton, Debbie Evans, Justin Miles, and Valerie Kaura have collectively donated $25,000 to Compassion Unites Us — a powerful reminder of how deeply our employees care about the work we do and the people we serve.

This campaign is about more than giving — it’s about coming together to make a difference for our patients, our hospital, and our community. And thanks to the generosity of team members like Brian, Debbie, Justin, and Valerie, we’re already making an impact.

Because at Redlands Community Hospital, We Give Because We Care — and it shows in every act of generosity, big or small.

This month Redlands Community Hospital celebrates the 40th anniversary of National Park and Recreation Month. This month is a time to get the family outdoors and get active. As we all get outdoors and get some exercise we worry about bug and mosquito bites, here are some tips from the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention:

• Always follow product label instructions and reapply as directed
• Do not apply repellent on skin under clothing
• When using sunscreen, apply it before the repellent
• Wear protective clothing such as loose long sleeves and pants and keep children covered
• Cover strollers with protective netting
