Inner Balance Therapeutic Massage

Inner Balance Therapeutic Massage I'm passionate about tailoring every massage to your needs SCHEDULING
Services are scheduled by appointment only. I want to hold space for you!

Licensed in 2013, my massage generally includes force line therapy, myofascial release, and trigger point therapy to assist your body in its healing process and to restore its natural balance. To ensure that I am able to accommodate your preferred appointment times, I ask that you schedule with as much advance notice as possible. PAYMENT
Full payment is due at the time of service. I accept cash, checks, Venmo, & credit cards (Visa, Master Card, Discover). GIFT CERTIFICATES
Gift certificates may be purchased for any value amount and are redeemable for massage services only; no cash value. Gift cards expire 2 years from the date of purchase. Inner Balance is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged certificates. CANCELLATION POLICY
24-hour advance notice is required when canceling an appointment. This allows the opportunity for someone else to schedule. If you are unable to give 24-hour advance notice or don't show up for your scheduled time, this will result in a charge of 50% of the scheduled appointment fee. This amount must be paid prior to your next scheduled appointment or will be processed on the credit card retained on file.

***Health and well-being are of utmost importance to me. If you need to reschedule because you are not feeling well or have any COVID-19-related symptoms, please get in touch with me as soon as possible to reschedule. There will be no fee charged for cancellations due to illness. ARRIVING LATE
If you are late to your session, you are welcome to receive whatever time is left in your appointment. Because of my tight schedule, I am unfortunately unable to extend your session beyond your original appointment time. Regardless of the length of the service given, you are responsible for payment of the full service scheduled. Depending upon how late the session begins, I will determine if there is enough time remaining to start a treatment. HEALTH CONSIDERATIONS
Please inform me of any health conditions, allergies, special needs, or concerns you have. Your safety and comfort are important to me & some services may not be appropriate for certain conditions. COMMUNICATE YOUR PREFERENCES
Be sure to speak up. All aspects of your massage session can be modified to your preference: pressure (too light or too deep), style of music, temperature, and whether you choose to have a conversation or enjoy the treatment in silence.

BAYLOR UNIVERSITY PUBLISHES LARGEST STUDY EVER ON MASSAGE THERAPY USE

July 2024

"Many people receive massage therapy and for many reasons. But according to a new study – the largest and most comprehensive ever conducted on the subject – the prevalence of visits to massage therapists is higher than one might have imagined and the reasons may be surprising."

“What our study shows is that it’s probably not helpful any longer to label massage as an ‘alternative’ therapy, with all of the marginality that the term conveys.”

“Licensed massage therapists ought to be respected as mainstream practitioners, whose profession provides a therapeutic approach not just to address pain and functional challenges but to foster wellness and overall well-being, physical and emotional.

Everyone can benefit from working with a skilled massage therapist. They’re the hidden gems in the healthcare system.” - Jeff Levin, Ph.D., M.P.H., University Professor of Epidemiology and Population Health. (Robert Rogers/Baylor University)

Now booking in July and August!! Here’s why you need a massage this summer:

1) I get to see you ♥️

2) Recover from Increased Physical Activity Faster:
Longer days and sunny weather invite you to participate in all sorts of physical activities, from mowing the lawn to running that 5K. Stuffing as much as possible into the longer days tends to result in overworked, sore muscles. Let me help you boost cell recovery and reduce inflammation to minimize aches and pain as your muscles protest the increased use. Help keep your muscles limber and reduce the chance of injury so you can focus on playing!

3) Combat Swelling in Joints and Limbs:
Heat and humidity are not kind to your body.
Swelling in joints and limbs is common due to the static accumulation of fluids. By increasing blood flow, the body is able to rid itself of built up fluids. Massage just happens to help increase circulation. When your body is able to keep up with weather changes and your level of activity, the circulatory system does its job a lot easier. Summer heat and humidity tax your system. As fluids move, they take the built-up toxins with them, offering you relief from swelling and discomfort.

4) Clear Your Head and Release Stress:
While stress isn’t connected to one season, the addition of outdoor activities and family vacations just adds to life’s daily stressors. Keeping up with summer plans overwhelms the best of us out there. Slow down, clear your head, and release tension with just one massage session. Taking time to let go and relax can help you recharge for the next round.

5) Take a “You” Break:
Summer months tend to put you on the fast-track. It seems like a never ending cycle of driving to the park, the beach, and sports practices, not to mention family bike rides and camping trip preparations. Even if there are no kids in the picture, the spike in activities you tend to get yourself into usually wipes you out. Experts figure approximately 80 to 90 percent of disease is stress-related. A massage can increase the body’s release of endorphins, which relieves pain naturally and produces an almost euphoric sense of well-being.

Hello friends!

The holiday season is upon us, and I wanted to remind all of my clients how much I appreciate each and every one of you. I know I haven’t been around as much. I am slowly and steadily working my way back into practice. Even if I haven’t had the pleasure of seeing your face for awhile, please know that I still am sending you all the love and light I can muster. YOU mean the world to me❣️

I know my schedule is especially tight right now as I still am hard at work on this healing journey. I wanted to remind you that my prices are increasing after the new year. Please feel free to take advantage of my current pricing and grab a gift certificate (or a few) to share with loved ones this season or just to keep for yourself for future appointments!

Also, if you cannot find an appointment that works for you in the near future, I still have another great therapist available to you through the end of this year as well. I am also always available via text or phone call. I look forward to serving you all this season and through the coming year!

One of the greatest things to ever happen in my work is our relationship. I am honored that you choose to allow me to walk this path alongside you 🙏🏼💕

Come hang out!
