Exercise of the Week

Clamshells:
-fire up the gluteus medius (side-glutes) for steadier hips
-help knees track straight, potentially reducing IT-band and patellar pain
-add pelvic stability

1) Lie on your side with hips and shoulders stacked, knees bent about 90°, feet together.

2) Engage your core. Keeping heels touching, lift your top knee as if opening a clamshell—no rocking your hips back.

3) Pause for a second, squeeze the side-glute, then lower slowly.

Repeat 12–15 reps per side, 2–3 sets.
