Today’s Pi Day was a little sweeter than usual! 🥧✨

Not only did we celebrate 3.14 with pie, but we also celebrated a very special birthday—our wonderful resident Paul turning 102 years young! 🎉

We loved gathering together to enjoy some pie and celebrate such an incredible milestone. Happy 102nd birthday, Paul! We’re so lucky to celebrate with you! 🥳🥧

We’re excited to welcome CNA students from Sammamish High School to our community! 🎉

These students are completing their clinical hours with us to practice the skills needed for their Certified Nursing Assistant certification.

They’ve shared some special moments with our residents—including dancing together and filling the room with smiles! Moments like these between generations are what make our community so special.

We’re proud to support the next generation of compassionate caregivers! 💙

Happy National Paper Day! 📄🐸

Today we celebrated by making origami frogs! Residents had fun turning simple pieces of paper into frogs—and even seeing whose could hop the farthest. A creative afternoon filled with laughter and a little friendly competition!

What a performance! 💃✨

Our favorite Dancercise performer, Bella, recently treated us to a beautiful belly dancing performance that had the whole room smiling and cheering. We are so grateful for the positivity she brings to our community!

Be on the lookout later this month… Bella will be returning with a Latin dance performance that you won’t want to miss! We can’t wait to see what she has in store next. 💃🔥

🌎Cultural Connections: Exploring Mexico 🌎

This week in our Cultural Connections Class, we took a trip to Mexico 🇲🇽! We spent time learning about Mexico’s rich history, vibrant traditions, and delicious cuisine.

One of the highlights of the day was decorating alebrijes — brightly colored spirit animal guides that are an important part of Mexican folk art. Each one was uniquely designed, full of personality and meaning, just like the artists who created them.

It was a wonderful time of learning, creativity, and connection as we continue to celebrate cultures from around the world together.

🥞🚒 National Pancake Day Fun! 🚒🥞

We celebrated National Pancake Day with homemade buttermilk pancakes made from a treasured family recipe shared by our Life Enrichment Director, Cortney!

We were also thrilled to welcome the firefighters from the Redmond Fire Department! 🚒 Residents enjoyed meeting the crew, taking photos, and getting an up-close look at the fire engine.

It was a morning full of good food, great company, and wonderful community connections! ❤️

One of our favorite highlights from February was getting creative with our friends from Interim HealthCare while making potpourri sensory bags! 🌸✨

Residents had so much fun choosing their favorite dried flowers, citrus slices, cinnamon sticks, and herbs to create their own custom blends.
