Urgent donations are needed for the Central Oregon Disability Support Network (CODSN). The sudden elimination of a large Department of Education federal grant has caused immediate staff layoffs, location closures, and critical loss of aid for over 4,300 children with disabilities and their families in eight Central & Eastern Oregon counties.
You can make an impact today! Every donation helps us reach our goal of $40,000 by the end of 2025 or $30,000 in 30 days. Help spread the word, please share with 10 people you know.
Your donation allows CODSN to continue providing peer-delivered support for those with disabilities and their families, such as no-cost disability education, advocacy resources, and community for families in rural Oregon. Please help save vital programs like new parent education, prenatal support, disability education and training, person-centered planning, emergency preparedness, and Special Education/IEP training and advocacy.
In the weeks since CODSN lost our Community Parent Resource Grant from the Department of Education, the outpouring of support with emails, calls and visits has been overwhelming. Beyond any doubt, it shows just how important the work of CODSN is to the eight counties we serve. Together, you reminded us that this is not just about a grant—it is about families, children, and communities who deserve access to education, opportunities, and hope. From the bottom of our hearts, THANK YOU from the entire CODSN team!
