Earlier this month, Merit Medical® Systems, Inc. announced the assets and business acquisition of EndoGastric Solutions®, Inc. The acquired EsophyX® Z+ System, SerosaFuse® Implantable Fastener Kit, and related SerosaFuse Fasteners Cartridge will now complement the Merit Endotek® product line.

We had a great event last week featuring Dr. Salih Samo (University of Kansas) co-hosted by Dr. Ravi Prakash (Advocate Health), who recently performed his 100th TIF procedure. While reviewing cTIF/TIF 2.0 cases, Dr. Samo and Dr. Prakash discussed the value of the entire GI team having a comprehensive understanding of GERD anatomy, physiology, and treatment options. They also reinforced how collaboration, efficient patient work-up and diligent patient selection all lead to optimizing clinical outcomes.

Thank you to Dr. Samo for attending this event, to Dr. Prakash for his continued dedication to helping patients with chronic GERD in his community, and to all those who attended. It's through these events and collaboration that we continue to advance patient care.
