We are heartbroken by the unexpected passing of our beloved board member Girish Joshi on January 21st. ๐Ÿ’š

Girish was a dedicated advocate for youth mental health, a Mental Health First Aid facilitator, and a powerful voice in the work to end stigma. He helped educate our community, strengthened key partnerships, and brought compassion, wisdom, and genuine heart to everything he touched. Since joining the NAMI Eastside Board in 2021, his impact has been profound and lasting.

Our thoughts are with his wife, Deepti, and daughter, Aarna, who have been an important part of our community and continue to champion mental health alongside us. We hold them and everyone who loved Girish. in our hearts during this difficult time.
Girishโ€™s passion, kindness, and commitment to this work will continue to inspire us. He will be deeply missed. ๐Ÿ’™
